Pat and I are in PInehurst…and expect to be going up to Boston in about a month (we are generally in Pinehurst mid-Oct to mid-May and Boston for the summers ).  Getting a little tired of this but fully understand the necessity.  Pat’s sons and their families are back east…Hunter (44) is a senior exec at Master Card and his wife Ann is an infectious disease doc at Brigham & Women’s Hosp in Boston (think she is a little busy?).  They have 5 kids age 2-10.  Clark (41), Alex and their three (age 2-8) are in Hanover , NH and he is w the US Forest Service and Alex is a midwife at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hosp.

Pat has been playing a fair amount of golf under the “new rules” (not much change…only 1 player to a cart etc) and I normally would be but I am recovering from triple bypass surgery January 21 so no golf since early December and probably none till this summer (my medical history meant the open heart surgery would result in a long arduous recovery…a forecast that has proven accurate.  However, I am definitely progressing and have learned to stop beating my head against brick walls once it starts to hurt 😆.
